Such a bull shit story. Arrested him for “having a shotgun “?????
    An “arsenal” (of 3 guns)????
    Trespassing...yes.
“Reckless endangerment”... maybe (depends on local law).
    Strange/unusual behavior? Yup.
Another hit job by the media? YES!

There is a lot missing from that story.

    1. He was charged with possession of a shotgun. Is he a felon?
    2. I didn't see the trespassing charge, but it insinuated he was on public land.
    3. The authors descriptions are terrible.
    4. Who cares if he was a hermit who avoided people.
    5. This is what the press has become.

Funny, they didn't mention the high-capacity toolbox.

Looks like sks mags, but no sks (or similar). ? the rest, aside from NFA, doesn’t look bad. Not like that single shot is a big thing or the cut stock ?22?

Like the way they list the precious offenses. Running multiple dogs while on a bike?

Maybe a little odd by some standards, but ...

The .22lr rifle is probably over 26in OAL , and therefor legal . The SKS is missing . But absent a Tax Stamp that SBS is the big no- no . That , and his admission of shooting in implied inappropriate area .

Dude says screw society and lives on his own terms so he must be a wack job right? I have news for these idiots. A HUGE number of people in the world live in similar conditions both above and below ground. Not everyone buys into this mass consumption pre-apocalyptic society that the majority of us sheeple call "normal".

I've always gotten a kick out of the "arsenal" thing. Does the media not realize that these "arsenal" owners also can only hold 2 guns at a time (max)?

Reading the linked article I saw the following:

"Graff had constructed the bunker on wooded land along the river that was owned by a local college, Fox 6 Milwaukee reported."

"He was also charged with reckless endangerment after admitting that he was the one who fired the shots that deputies were called to check out, according to the paper"

Kudos to him for being able to go off the grid almost in plain sight for several years!

-So, college property isn't always public property, hence the possible trespassing
-He fired a shot openly in an 'urban' area

I'll keep my righteous indignation on hold until more facts are known, including his mental health.

Was he a prohibited person ?

Another couple of years and he could have filed an adverse possession claim for the land his homeless encampment was on.

With that SBS he will be now.

Other than the fact that his little bunker was filthy, it looked fairly well constructed. Story estimated that he had been living there for up to 10 years. Other than trespassing on university land, I think that the guy was just a loaner and wanted to live in peace away from society. Hope he gets off easy and gets some help re-integrating.
