    Hey all
I just saw this 9mm upper at Rainier Arms for $50. I've been thinking of making a non 5.56 AR so when i saw this i thought i could get the upper now and build when i get other stuff.

So what do you all think of Rainier Arms.

Rainier Arms is quality stuff. I like their barrels particularly. They are a bit pricy though. $50 for a forged upper isn't bad. Is this a complete upper? Do.you have a direct link to this upper?

    rainier has EXCELLENT customer service!

when i was putting a 224 valk together i had some questions on gas block/barrel/handguard compatibility. everyone else said maybe, don't know, or probably. the rainier guy went back in the shop, put one together and said definitely yes. by far the extra step taken!

i looked at that upper, looks nice and pretty similar to aero's ar-15 upper with no forward assist (which is what i have for my current pcc sbr build).

my bil got a nordic smooth sided billet upper for his pcc build, very nice and robust. not milspec though so some handguards (such as aero atlas) won't fit it.

Not sure about that exact part but Rainier is definitely good to go. I would trust most anything they carry.
