What kind of stock do you have on that M1A? How is the balance? A very sweet update to a great rifle.

Sage m14 EBR Stock. Chopmod ( Early version) Navy Seal Version.

The weapon is balanced but weighs around 14 lbs. With full accessories, loaded mag. LAM, Light, mags, Bipod, Suppressor and Swiss army knife. It can easily reach about 18 lbs.

Hate to lug it around in combat.

How do you like that scar stock? I think they look sweet.

It actually improved the accuracy on a short barreled AC556K. I used to get about a 4" group at 100 yards with the older folding stock. Switched to the SCAR stock and it cut the group size to 1.5" ( Short barrel 1984 manufactured machinegun)It is also a drop in installation.

The stock is very well built, solid and holds zero. What I dont like about it. it is heavy ( tames recoil). You cant use iron sight ( stock is too high)and must rely on optics. It is also expensive. I only purchased it because I can justify it on an NFA weapon.
