Bought a .22LR can on June 15, 2016. Silencershop shows the Form 4 was submitted 7/7/16. Called to check status and the woman said my check was deposited 7/22/16 and it will be a while. This July rush is going to last a good while longer.

I'm in the same boat !! 2 with checks cashed 7/21/16 was told late May 8 weeks ago. Now I'm thinking end of July if I'm lucky.

    E File Form 1's

    Submitted 7/7/16
    Approved 5/16/17

I submitted five form 1's on 7/7/16 and I've only received two of them back on 5/16/17. I have heard nothing for the remaining three. How does that even happen?

    Form 1 E-File Submitted: July 7, 2016

This one was interesting: the form listed the OAL to be 28 inches for a 22LR (and included the same information from this thread). Got a call on the 17th from the BATFE letting me know that they were rejecting my Form 1 as I'd listed an OAL of less than 29 inches. I piped up that the FSA 2013 OAL restriction should only apply to centerfire cartridges and the guy told me that he had to check with "the Maryland expert". He came back about thirty seconds later and told me that he was approving the form and that I'd be getting an email in the next few minutes.

While I'm happy he called I was wondering if they normally do that when rejecting an application. Did I just get really lucky?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone know what would happen to a Form 1 Individual stamp if the applicant dies before the stamp is actually received?

Just curious. It would seem that some of these stamps are taking as long as 12 months. Surely something could happen in that time frame. I guess the question could be expanded to any Individual stamp. I'm sure the Trust would take care of this issue, but what about the Individual stamp?

    Thanks!
