Hello everyone, I am thinking about building a clone lower of a Diemaco/Colt Canada AR lower for no other reason than to have it as a collectors item. It would be near impossible and expensive to import, so that's not a feasible option. I am looking to have an 80% engraved first then I will mill it out myself. I look forward hearing everyone's suggestions and thoughts about this project!

Note:the lower will only need one side engraved

Check with your local jewelry shops. I know if a few people that have had engraving done at their local non chain store shops. I

I second that. I use Rick's jewelry in California md. He has his ffl and does good work. If it's not in his system he charges a fee to put it in then the engraving fee. I had him do the punisher skull in a spade and a spade on the other side and it cost me 85 bucks cause he had to put it in his system.

If you have a template, it is very easy to engrave whatever with a machine pantograph. It’s obsolete technology by today’s standards, but works very well.

You could also do that engraving very easily with a CNC mill.

    Bollinger's has a non-laser engraving setup.

Not sure if they can import a graphic, but you can call and ask
