3Paul10, I was a career law enforcement officer. I can tell you that is not going to happen. The police will not follow an unconstitutional order. The red flag laws were meant to protect domestic violence victims and children from school shooters. They are working. Once again, the police take a bad hit, but I tell you with conviction they will not act against the 2nd Amendment.

I can imagine that a lot of records and bound books will wind up being lost in boating accidents.

My FFL has hinted at the idea of a mysterious fire taking out his filing cabinet and the computer hard drive getting ventilated if the order comes down for confiscation... and I really do think he would do it.

"There are proven strategies for reducing gun violence in urban communities without turning to incarceration."

So keep making more and more onerous laws for people in the suburbs while maintaining the killing fields of the inner cities. I'm sure it will work perfectly.

I am not going to show my hand on an open forum of exactly what I would do, but I will say this. If knee pads and pee pads get elected, which I doubt, I will buy my dream gun the next day, period. 2. I will defend my faith and my family even till death, however I believe in Patton's philosophy, make the enemy die for their cause. 3. I do not trust the police when it comes to this. Look at the Kenoshia Kid, or the St. Louis couple. Why haven't any of the political elite been arrested, hmm? Its b/c cops follow orders. Those that don't agree with the government have retired or quit. Same goes for the military. I will not trust any of them until they give me reason too and it pains me to say that. With that being said, I will always be respectful to the police, but I don't trust them to do the right thing when it comes to the Constitution, they look out for their own, as we should.

If this happens there is going to be a lot of casualties and just like Gibsons character says in the state house, it will be fought on our property, our children will see it with their own eyes. I don't think the communists that back Knee Pads and Pee Pads will give up easily either. Looking at years, and much of it might turn into N. Ireland style tit for tat exchanges and attacks.

Gun makers are already being sued from what i have seen . And i agree politicians need to really be the ones sued for their continued failed leadership or lack of morals and decency

Politicians need to be Sued? Hell half of these politicians need to be in prison with hard labor for life or extremely long sentences. :mad54:

the good news is i just don't see anyone going house to house to take our guns. but with a ban there will be no more new guns. and getting discovered & arrested if we go to the range etc to shoot them. sure, most will keep their guns, but locked up in the safe really isn't why we bought them.[/QUOTE]

This is it in a nut shell. There is no way the police or any other agency can go door to door confiscating weapons. They will simply send us a notice saying we either have to register it, sell it back, or sign that we no longer posses the weapon. Then it will sit in the safe, or hidden some where and you wont be able to take it to the range for fear of arrest.

Honestly though, all kidding aside, I do not see Knee Pads and Pee Pads winning the election. Pretty much outside of the Socialist Democratic People's Republic of Maryland, all I see are Trump / Pence signs and American flags.

IMHO it's the Alphabet Agencies we have the most to worry about...

I don't think most members of the police & military will be willing to be part of disarming American Citizens.

    .

I agree. Every alphabet agency has its own swat teams. Even CSX railroad has its own swat team. How soon before antifa has a swat team? But would the feds get bogged down in state's confiscation?

Problem with local LE doing the confiscations is as of now, many would refuse. But many PDs are become more infected with the younger indoctrinated officers. The local cop putting her knee in your back in your living room may end up being the 200 lb purple haired female activist turned cop

I expect implemtation of the dems strategy will be 1) tax ammo, firearms, ranges to death., 2) everyone with a record of firearms or hunting license gets called into the tax dept for an audit meanwhile swat raids their house. 3)record of having had a hunting license or HQL becomes PC for an ERPO

It does seem like it would be a massive bureaucratic nightmare to do mass confiscation. I suppose they might do data mining to make examples of those who they deem a threat to their ideology. For example - start with those on MD shooters, then go on to supporters of MSI, GOA etc.

    Red flag laws.
    /discussion.

Absolutely Unconstitutional. You CANNOT suspend a civil right without due process. That is the cornerstone of our justice system. Even if it’s “for the children”. Give me a break.

Last Monday I was hunting in Pylesville with some friends. We were commenting on how almost every yard between the highway and the field had a Trump sign, something we don't see in AA County. We only noticed one Biden/Harris sign. I would guess we probably passed about 100 residences in the 6 miles we drive.

A neighborhood by my house in AA County has about 650 residences in the development. There are about one hundred Biden/Harris signs in the development. Therein lies the rub. Rural Maryland appears to be pro Trump, The urban population centers appear to go the other way.

Most Trump supporters that I know are afraid to put signs out of bumper stickers on their cars because of the lefts willingness to destroy your property. Make no mistake though, they are all going to vote for Trump. :party29:

yep in alexandria the other day, most signs were dem, get back out in western loudoun, and in our cross country trip to colo now, most signs are gop. the cities have the numbers and most are lib/dem.

get the F out and vote, no one should be assuming or thinking T will win again.
