The first magazine, I always expect a hiccup - at least 1.

Normally, I'll run the first magazine or two with the hottest commercial ammo I can easily find. If the slide/rails are tight, seems the hotter ammo helps to overcome any excess drag. If it chokes on that, then there's issues that need to be addressed.

I ran 115 grn crap ammo and it ran nice. I brought hot ammo just in case but 49 flawless rounds out of 50, I’m happy

    Nothing wrong with that!

With the 31 and 32, they were nice and ran well pretty quickly. Didn't hurt my feelings, hot 357 SIG ammo can get pricey quick.

If my 33 and M&P 357 sig don’t sell at my asking price I’m gonna drop the price and not include the ammo. Your welcome to it if you don’t mind meeting me at at myrtle grove and blasting off a couple rounds

I'm always game for range days!

I don't think you've shot the .45 since I reworked the trigger. The pull is .2/.3 lbs heavier, but the take-up/over-travel is nothing like it was the last time we shot together.

**And I can finally get that water bottle back to you... :lol2:

I needed a mag to be able to test my build. Went to W.E.Sell in Hanover. They had one. $27.99 for a Glock G19. Such a nice store. Better price than Freedom. They wanted $39!!

    All over the dang state
Finally got mine (mostly) finished - sights were installed after this pic. Just need to range test it and work out the kinks, but runs pretty smoothly with snap caps.

Completed mine over the weekend. Have not fired it as of yet, was tight as hell, but after racking it for 10 minutes seems smooth now.

Have you tried with snap caps or live ammo?

BTW love it, looks like mine but different color

    No, neither.

    Do it!!!!

I thought mine was a gravy train on biscuit wheels until i introduced the live ammo (didn’t have snap caps) and found out i had a problem going into battery. A little trouble shooting showed me what it was but if i took it to the range first i woulda been annoyed

I've been following this thread, so I am aware or the issues associated with the build.Where can I get snap caps? Won't be live firing for awhile. Thanks.
