      I have the same rifle and love it. Trigger felt good but could be a little smoother on mine. I used a vortex strikeforce optic on mine and was pretty accurate.

      What length barrel is best for up to 1000 yards. I have the ar15 for shorter ranges up to 300 yards is what I will use that for but this build is for longer ranges 600+.       I went with dpms because that is what my local gun stores carry and to get it online though cheaper it has to ship to a ffl and shipping and ffl fees make up the difference in price for the lower if i bought it from the store.

      I am looking to build an ar10 and have been doing a little research. I am going with the DPMS lower and the precision arms upper.       Went to the range today put 150 through it. No misfires and it performed beautifully for my first time shooting a rifle lol. Need a good sight was hitting far left all day lol but it was fun none the less.

      Getting my troy alpha rail Monday and my sling and fore grip. cant wait. I am going to cut down the front sight and use that since its the best from what I have read. Fingers crossed. will have updated pics Tuesday.

      Yea im gonna try to get a dremel today and see if i can do it. My troy alpha rail comes monday so hopefully i can have it cut and shaaped before then so i can jist slip the rail on and be ready to go. Also got my foregrip and sling. Need a magpul pistol grip and ill be content for awhile anyways lol
