      only roadkill I ate was a turkey I hit no problem with the meat. I got fun of by school mates for picking up small game off the road because they thought I was eating them. But I was feeding two hawks I was taking care of yeah they still get kid me about the old roadkill days

      My shop is in Deale and I eat at all the restaurants there great sometime not so much when busy. Top of my list Pete Green's, Jesse Jay's in Churchton Latin Inspired, Dockside and Skippers. Monday $6. burger all day at Happy Harbor.

      When I prune figs in the spring I put the cuttings in a bucket with water. When they start having roots you can plant them. Also if you have low branches near the ground cover the branch the earth wait a month or more it will root cut and replant

      I take rings off and don't stack jars if something goes wrong the seal will break. And I will know jar is bad but I have never had a lid blow.

      I think hanging dressed deer for 7 to 10 days taste better and tender. Never try parts aged.

      I put the 6lb. pulp and seeds in pot with 2 cups water boil for about a hour. Let it cool and remove seeds which is time consuming. Add 3 cups sugar 1/2 cups lemon juice 2 table spoon of vanilla put it all to boil again put in jars boil in jars for 10 minutes.

      I didn't have room for corn but popcorn worked great for me. Dry it out put it in bags or jars better then store bought. Last for years

      Got a cooperhead last friday north Calvert County used snake tongs and put in bucket with a lid. Called DNR thinking they would relocate gave me a big NO. So illegal to kill in MD but I have to take the risk of finding it a new home!

      If you need to go to Beltsville a every now and then. You might want to look at Sunderland N Calvert you could take Rt 2 or 4 to get to DC or southern Calvert. Wife drives to Greenbelt NASA from there. Near Tractor supply-Sneades between shops of Prince Frederick - Dunkirk - Chesapeake Beach
