      V24 from Gettysburg Show

Here's a picture of the renumbered bolt. It's 9458. I really like the VZ24's and I haven't seen a nice reasonable priced one for a long time.

Picked up this VZ24 at Gettysburg. I hadn't planned to spend much money but couldn't pass it up. It hasn been refurbed. Has the 3 line BRNO receiver marking. Acceptance date 1928. Bolt serial lined out and it's stamped matching on the root of the handle. Stock matches receiver. The wrist sling...

      Type 53's

I think the original post was just to "stir the pot" and see what happens. If it's a real post than fine, just if he ever wants to sell his "stealth T53" he may regret the modifications.

      Finished one summer project

You did a great job! I like the Rit Dye method as it allows you to get the color you want. If you want to make it darker you can dye it again without having to refinish the stock, just dye over the existing oil finish.

FAKE Collector Grade M1 Article In GCA Journal

To clarify: CMP Collector Grade M1's derive a substantial portion of their value from their certificates. Without the CMP Collector Grade certificate a correct M1 is just a correct M1. Anyone can put period correct parts on a rifle. To forge the CMP certificate and pass off a lesser value rifle...

Police Trade in Ruger Mini 14 rifles

I bought one from Lou that looked like it had barely been used. I took it to the range and it functioned perfectly. It was as accurate as any other Mini 14 I've shot. I liked it so much I bought one for my son. It was the same condition and also functioned perfectly. Everyone has their own...

Police Trade in Ruger Mini 14 rifles

Shooters Discount has stainless steel mini-14 police trade ins. They have the black plastic stocks, flash hiders and bayonet lugs. The ones I saw look to be lightly used. I don't know the price offhand. I believe Shooters Discount will be at the Fredrick show this weekend just maybe no Lou.
