Vortex Strike Eagle
I put the Vortex 1-6x24 Strike Eagle on my Sig 716 and have been happy with it. Really only been out to 200 yds. though. On sale today at DVOR.com for $249.
I know the description says the reticle "subtends for 5.56". I bought it for another build and put it on my 716...
It is still just stunning to me that they refuse to address the people committing crimes with firearms, or any violent crimes, but instead choose to focus on a piece of steel and plastic. It allows them to ignore their failed policies and divert the blame anywhere else. Just crazy.

Understand easy to load and operate but I would worry about limited capacity, especially if aim is off. 6 rounds can go by quick.
