      Armed Security needed?

I can vouch for this. They also hold a contract with Northrop Grumman in Hanover. They are always hiring. Good pay too. Starts at 19.35/hr at the lowest.

      question about hand gun permit

My face to face and the calls to all my references happened about a month to a month and a half after I put in the paperwork. I didn't get my ccw until almost the full 90 days from original turn in of the paperwork. Just got it last week.

Dealer Info - Engage Armament LLC

I work Armed security at the credit union across the street from you. Mind if I stop in with my duty weapon on when I take a quick break? (Glock 22 .40) If it's a big deal I can leave it in the truck when I come across. :P

Dogfish head in Gaithersburg getting sued

I think we're all starting to get away from what's really going on here. Yes it's stupid to sue the bar for the actions of the individual. What I (omgwtfballsax don't crucify me) think is that if the family had been satisfied that the man had gotten due punishment instead of the pathetic 8...

Dogfish head in Gaithersburg getting sued

From the outside looking in the situation sucks. I mean hell, I'd probably do the same shit if it was my kid. The worst part of the entire story is the 8 years jail and 5 years probation. I mean it shouldn't be manslaughter to kill someone while drinking and driving. Every time you get in a...

      Parkville, Satyr Hill

I live in Parkville just south of the Parkville Balt County Police Barracks (the one on the corner of Putty Hill and Old Harford) I haven't had any problems whatsoever in that area since we moved. Hell, I came from Reisterstown (Fecking ghetto) and I LOVE the peace, quiet and safety I have here...

Suggestions for Glock 22 and 23 duty holsters??

Ended up picking up the 5.11 Tactical Thumb Drive Holster. Should be here in about a week and since I'm a licensed 5.11 dealer I can get a sweet discount :P Will let you know how it works out.

Any Maryland State Police on here?

And.......I GOT IT finally....!! 86th day. Wish those 14 or so that it was in transit back and forth hadn't been there. That means it's been ~100 days total for a wait. Ugh. Either way. Thumbs up!

Another sad story resulting from insanity in our schools

Debating is what makes "arguments" great. If you aren't willing to back your argument then you are exactly what's wrong with people today. They just wanna say, "That's wrong," and stubbornly avoid anyone who has a different opinion. If this was a cut and dry case there wouldn't be a...

Any Maryland State Police on here?

Can you reference me to somewhere that states the regulations on that? I remember reading somewhere that I had 2 weeks to have a new employer take over the sponsorship of the ccw. I can't seem to find it right now.

I will be there, working on my friends all coming down as well.

Any Maryland State Police on here?

I was under the impression from what I have read that as long as my new employer was also licensed to have armed security, that all they had to do was send in the new information to the MSP. The biggest issue I have found is that most employers are telling me that they want me to already have my...

      Maryland Gun Law Question

Completely off topic, but I just realized as I'm reading this, I'm at work and I look across the street from where I'm doing security and I see Engage Armament. :party29: Crazy...

My very first concealed carry experience

I posted this in another thread but since this is another OC/CCW thread I'll throw it in here in case some of you missed it. This site keeps very up to date with all things OC/CCW/Preemption, etc... OpenCarry.Org Also I OC every time I'm in PA in both a shoulder and hip holster. Never had a...

      First time carry in PA

I'm from Pennsylvania (Wellsboro/Williamsport originally and lived in Pottsville for a bit). My father was a police officer in Williamsport for 18 years (bought out the other 2 with military time) and is now a bounty hunter/P.I. I open carry every single time I have gone to PA in both my...

Any Maryland State Police on here?

Fair enough. I think I'm taking longer because I wasn't in the with bunch that my employer sent in ( 7 i think). Up to 80 days now.

Any Maryland State Police on here?

The rest other employees received theirs in approximately 2 - 2 1/2 months. I wasn't in that group because I did the digital fingerprints and my boss sent in the check for the wrong amount. Where did you get the 4 month process time info from? (also I work armed security for a security...
