Any know the history of this? Did it ever? Was it considered unnecessary? Did people fear it due to the end of Slavery?
I know there are a few others but for one of original 13 states not to have one seems odd to me.
Does anyone know how MD ended up with no right to keep and bear arms? Seems odd, MD being one of the original thirteen and all. I must have someone to blame.
They will ONLY ship stripped lowers to MD. No complete lowers/uppers or firearms. I really want to get one of their PA10s, but dont know how. Is finding one at an out of state FFL the only way I guess.

Is it legal if purchasing, say a pistol with 15rd mags in MD for the gun shop (in MD) doing the transfer to send the mags out of state for the owner to receive them at an out of state gun shop?
Finally decided to get an HQL, and on the MSP site these two areas seen to be in conflict. I have owned many regulated weapons prior to 2013, and I have prior hunter safety and firearm training. What is this "within 3 years" stuff?
