      the edc WATCH thread

Similar style field watch and you cannot beat the price. I have one and it is better IRL than the pic. It is quickly becoming my EDC. Plus you can dispose of explosive ordinance, if that is your thing. https://www.keepshooting.com/british-army-eod-wrist-watch.html

New law to make it illegal to ride dirtbikes on your property without permission.

Anne Arundel county already has a noise ordinance specifically addressing dirtbikes. https://www.aacounty.org/services-and-programs/noise-control "Daytime (7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) 65 dBA - for residential receiving properties Nighttime (10 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) 55 dBA - for residential...

      Golf Cart on Rte. 50

Ahhh the carefree life of being young, naive, and stupid. Just noticed the passenger pulled mace at 29seconds. I guess she was concerned about her safety.

      Rediscovered my love of shotguns

Shotguns with a simple bead sight feel more like art than science. Great fun.

Cities sue atf over 80% with everytown help

That is how California applied their law along with a grandfather clause. Any 80% lower finished after July 1, 2018 needs to have a unique serial number engraved on the weapon which is assigned to it by the California Department of Justice through an application process...

Beretta 92 I love the way it looks and feels, but shooting it is always unsatisfying.

I like the simplicity of the blowback design. It is ideal Soviet utilitarian.

Will we ever see cheap C&R rifles again?

CZ 82s, Tokarevs, and Chinese SKSs are still a pretty good value. They should go up in value after they are not surplus. Who would have thought the $99 Nagant revolvers would skyrocket to +$400?

      AAPD - Chokehold Policy

They are removing non-lethal tactics from the police. I wonder how that will go.

P/T job for 18 year old

What is she majoring in, what does she want to do with it? I assume science stuff. I had a similar career path and worked in a veterinary clinic through high school and college as a lab technician. That paid well and looked great on a resume if she want to get into the sciences.

Why would anyone need more than one gun?

Your analogy is perfect. Sure you can start with a do it all SV650 and have a great time riding, touring, maybe even a few track days. After some time you want a liter bike to really feel what 200hp is like. There is no reason the dump the SV though. Then the novelty of a sport bike does not...

      Hunter safety field day

I just passed the Texas certification. It is a well thought out straightforward process. The total price is ~$35. The only problem is it expires October 9, 2020. I probably should have waited to take the course.
