I'd almost be in favor of a moratorium on channel catfish so's people can only take blues and flats, but i dont think it's practical.

Monday they're calling for the river to still be around 7 feet...still pretty high to fish IMO. It crested at 15.5' yesterday. Expect some new logs scattered around.
My turkeys were bumpin' uglies a few weeks ago and my tom is still gobbling a lot, but no eggs yet from the hens. They've always started laying before April. Now, I do have one hen that is probably done laying, but the other one is still young and should have started by now.

I'm sure you know already but you can adjust the felt recoil with the Graco pad. It's a very nice feature. I can shoot 4 rounds of trap and not feel a thing, whereas with my other guns my shoulder gets sore after two.
