Im in somewhat the same boat. I have ideas that will make it harder for the media and politicians to vilify us and kind of get us more accepted but how to convert that into some political action is where Im hung up. We could get the community members to think good of gun owners but that doesn't...
I've wondered this. Everyone has a ssn. Why isn't there a database based off ssn with a few columns that have check marks in them? For example: if you are on a no fly list there is a check mark in that column. Simple and highly effective. They should work smarter, not harder.
I like mine which is 50ae and recoil isn't bad, its intimidating at first(or well it was for me as it was my first big caliber handgun) but its nothing crazy. Mine is chrome which sucks for the fingerprints and ammo is expensive. However its awesome to shoot. It turns heads at the range.
Thanks for this great forum Don and thanks to everyone who came out. This was the first event I've been to but ill be at the next ones for sure. it's one thing to see people at the ranges and on here. It's a completely different feeling seeing everyone out there getting fired up to protect our...
My 550 was very easy to setup and get running. But the 550 doesn't auto index so that eliminates that whole thing off the top.

I don't remember the exact comments on their morning show when the ccw stay was possibly going to be lifted but it was typical fear mongering stuff. I wouldn't be supprised if this was spun in a bad light.

I have a SOG SlimJim. I haven't found much I don't like except maybe getting used to opening it. Its skinny and that sucks for any kind of bracing while opening(clip works good tho) but its also really nice because I don't notice its there and that pocket is mostly usable.
I ordered on saturday and had to wait till monday morning for mine to ship out. :sad20: But no, I wasn't expecting my stuff till thurs or friday at the earliest and it was at my door wed. Awesome IMO.
I use dillon carbide dies for pistol. Mostly because I pull a pin and can take them apart to clean. Put the pin back in and they are still set where they were before. Beyond that I'd use whoevers I can readily get replacement decapping pins for. I do use RCBS .223 dies and a lee factory crimp. I...
Pretty much what everyone else is saying. Except casting, I don't know anything about casting.
read read read, then when you think youre done reading. Read some more. Every time I start reading about reloading I pick up something new, even if its something small. The Lee book is good if youre...
I joined up in this group too. Awesome bunch of people. I can't wait to shoot there. It'll be nice being back outside shooting.

Stoeger m2000 should be on the list. It only turned into a single shot when I ran it bone dry.

I can't speak for how busy they are but their bluing looks really good. Their smith is pretty good in general.
As for people not liking them, to each their own. I've never had a problem with anyone there.

I run 27.2gr BLC2 behind a 55gr fmj and it's not bad. I can't remember the exact speeds it was running at but I had them posted here because they were below the manual. I still have to test it with the 50gr I'll be working up a load with h335 next.
