I have several weapons, grand-fathered in, that are now illegal under the new laws passed in the Maryland legislature. They are insured. If someone should break in and steal them, and I would like them replaced, can I get something comparable to these stolen weapons?
Thanks!
Will a barrel nut that is too tight effect accuracy? Conversley if it is too loose will it do the same. I recall the spec was 35 ish lbs. of torque.

California's Gun Repo Men Have a Nerve-Racking Job
On the evening of March 5, nine agents from the California Department of Justice, wearing bulletproof vests and carrying Glock pistols, assembled outside a ranch-style house in a Los Angeles suburb.

I know in Annapolis, there is a truck that drives around that you can buy addy time. I wonder if we could pull together and buy some time for that. To me, we can put a message that everyone can agree with. Like, for example:
Your Bill of Rights - Vote for them!

Ma Duece in another thread posted something that I think needs to be mentioned in its own thread. What % of illegal guns on the street are stolen from the homes of gun owners? If the % is significant, then I submit that having the weapon on your person should REDUCE that! You want to keep...
I know this is a "baby steps" process. But I am curious as to how it might play out. Eventually the ATF needs to be corrected because the SCOTUS has already talked about defense of your person being an inherent right, therefore "sporting purposes" is irrelevant. But that phrase has been used...
DPMS LR-308T
When I first purchased this rifle new, I was really impressed with how it looked. Though it is a 16" barrel, it is still heavy. The barrel under the FF rail is THICK. I had purchased all of the required tools to take it apart. And I took off the barrel and really examined it...
I have a safe. I am leaving town at some point. But I would like to place my weapons somewhere safe. And in light of MD's stupid laws, I can't legally drive it to one of you guys' house (whom I trust (most of you)) to hold my weapons. And I thought, what if the police dept holds them for me...
So I have an upper that I am considering trading it out or selling it here. But I wanted your advice on what you think I should do BESIDES just build another AR15. I have 2 already. This is exactly what it is right now:
Sabre Defense 16" barrel M4 profile (less that 10 bullets through it)...
I have a friend whose, about 17 years ago, grandfather gave him two pistols. The grandson is now much older, but he is afraid to do anything with the guns because he is scared that somehow he is skirting the law or will get in trouble. I tried to tell him, I don't think it's an issue because...
I think it was my good buddy Clandestine who gave out this gunsmith. I just got finished using him and he was wonderful! Great work. Clandestine could not have been any more right about this guy. Great work. Super fast.

Couldn't Take it Anymore: M4forg to A2 (W/ Pics)
Well, I had two AR15 16" builds and a lonely 20" barrel doing nothing. With the two 16" builds, I have the same exact rifle!! they look ok. One is in my sig. But I missed that classic look, so I got some work done to the 20" HBAR and...
#1 is it worth it?
#2 who in MD can do it??
I feel like in the near future my Yugo will need to be re-barreled as it had crud in it from a previous owner. It fires fine, but on looking inside it, there appears to be stuff I will never be able to get out.
It is what it is, but I hate...
Justice Dept. Accused of Giving Immunity to Mexican Drug Cartel Leaders
ka says: I didn't put this in the Gunrunner thread because this aspect focuses on drugs more than guns.
I had a Daisy Powerline 880 when I was young. I want desperately to get a new airgun. I want it because it can take down small game in a pinch. And they are fun to shoot. Anywho, I recall that they basically came in two flavors: multiple pump & single pump at the barrel (usually).
I like...
