      Cecil County FFL

      I’ve used Henry Calvert several times, always a good experience. He had a regular job during the day when I last used him for a transfer several years ago, so he was only doing FFL work at night.

      HK VP9

      I took my new USP Combat Competition straight to the range and had a few failures to eject and feed. I took it home and cleaned it well and lubed it. I have had zero issues since then. The factory grease looked more like a protectant than a lube.

      That gun had less than 100 rounds through it, I know because it was mine! It was a great gun but I have too many other ARs and it was gathering too much dust in the safe. Mark and the guys made me a great trade, I can't say enough good things about them.

      Cases too short?

      The .223 SAAMI spec lists 1.760 - 0.030 for the case length. You're at the the minimum, you should be fine.

      ATF Form 5320.20 (Form 20) NFA Transport, Trust and post Oct. 1st questions

      I combined 2 non-trust guns and 1 trust gun on my 5320.20 and put my name on the form, I didn't mention the trust. I received the approved form this week. I didn't think about mentioning the trust until after I mailed the form. Apparently there is no consistency at he ATF, :lol2:

      Leupold VX-R vs. Vortex Viper PST

      I own both. I'd give the edge for optical clarity to the Leupold. As others have mentioned, the reticle on the Viper is very fine. Might be an issue for older eyes. I haven't had any issues with either brand, i have 8 Leupolds and 2 Vipers.
