      12 years of being a gun/drug cop. Yeah and what the exemption is stating is that if you have to use a lawfully owned handgun to protect life inside your home (your dad’s gun) you won’t go to jail.

      MD law states you must be 21 to possess a handgun. I arrest people quite often for violating this in the city. It’s a felony, btw.

      except that in this case, the reason for ATF's denial is that the SBR is an assault weapon and banned by state law. so far, no indication that the roster has anything to do with ATF's response.

      the plan was to submit it to the roster board while waiting on the form 4. I emailed my ATF examiner and explained that by MD law this is a pistol and therefore not banned in this configuration. waiting for a reply.
