I use mine from my cell phone.
Besides finding excessive copper fouling, I've also found a carbon ring on one of my rifles, and some weird shiny black hard-to-remove fouling that I think came from some black colored powder coated bullets that I bought, in a sbr barrel.
The borescope is also...
Or you might end up with a weapon that has a body on it from sometime between when you claimed to have acquired it and when you actually did. Not very likely but not impossible. . .
This.
If you want a tricked out 10/22 you'll probably end up replacing everything except the receiver and possibly the bolt anyway. So just buy those, and, if you don't want to keep the Deluxe, sell it on to fund part of the build.
Never too early to start thinning the herd. . . .
But, yah, I don't feel like listening to more crying mothers whining about how their young hoodlum was "turning his life around" if it can be helped. Sometimes it can't.
I'm all for any teacher that wants to being able to have a gun at school...
Would probably like the teacher to verify who's coming through the door before shooting.
Also, maybe part of the training should focus on how a 5'2" 135 lb teacher keeps an enraged 6'6" 270 lb thug student from taking her gun away from her without shooting him (if possible.) Not that I would...
Federal law. ATF Form 4473 question 21(d) specifies conviction for a Felony or "any other crime" (e.g. a misdemeanor) for which you could have been sentenced to more than 1 year in prison.
So this depends on the max sentence for the state in which one was convicted.
I haven't had an issue with set screw gas blocks with a dimpled barrel. I have a "dimpling" jig for this (and a very hard drill bit) for barrels that aren't pre-dimpled. I usually only dimple one hole directly under the gas port. A drop of rocksett for each set screw and gtg. I try to use new...
I "retire" my 9mm brass after 2 firings by reloading it a third time and putting it in my "stockpile."
As others have said, lots of 9mm brass out there. In fact, right now I only reload Winchester brass. I trust other brass, e.g. Federal Blazer, but it seems to get beat up more, so I've just...
Thanks.
Had I been well informed enough when I moved to MD in 2010 to have bought one or two, I'd definitely be saving them for non-HBAR builds. I dont mind my 16" HBAR, but not having a pre-2013 lower, if I build a 20" I'll probably feel compelled to shell out the extra bucks for a fluted HBAR...
I'm not sure I understand why pre 2013 lowers have any more value than post 2013 lowers to anyone other than the original (pre 2013) owner.
I get that they can be used to build a non-HBAR 5.56 rifle by the original owner. But can the original owner transfer that rifle to anyone outside of...
Glad you're well.
I'll be happy to leave that box unchecked.
I only use Vihtavuori N340 for 9mm. A max load is pretty much a full case, plus good velocities and clean burning. Used to be more expensive before Hodgdon started raising the price on most everything else, but when you're only using...
Agree with checking with your accountant.
Disagree that the IRS has to PROVE anything. That's not how the tax code works. You have to prove it to them to their satisfaction. Lack of a business license, going multiple years without declaring (and paying taxes on) a profit, not having made a net...
I think you're in the clear if a dealer makes the transfer - it's exactly what they're trying to force people in free states (i.e. not Maryland) to do with this regulation.
