      Value on an Old Shotgun

      I have an old shotgun I got from my grandfather. Imported by FIREARMS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION of DC from France. It's called a "La Salle", it's engraved and has a 30" barrel, I think it was manufactured in the 50's. A friend is asking me about buying it, any ideas on what the value might be?

      1911 Frames and feed ramps

      Looking to start a 1911 project in .40 / 10mm I feel like I am reading some conflicting info. Are there feed ramps in the frame that might dictate caliber? Or should I be able to setup my frame and use the barrel and slide to change caliber? Is a 9mm 1911 frame the same as a .45 1911 frame?
