      Mine is a full inch pattern, so I don’t think it does. I looked on the list and saw century arms L1A1 is banned; it mine is a CAI Imbel, does that make a difference? Can anyone reccomend a firearms lawyer? I don’t want to loose the rifle. We are planning on moving to Florida in the next 3 years...

      Hello all, my brother in law gifted me an L1A1 back in 2011. I never got around to putting it in my name; but I have heard that family gifted guns didn’t need to be registered if it was before 2013? Is this true? If not, what should I do?
