Texas has a License to Carry Handgun (LTC) that can be applied for and after the citizen has met the requirements spelled out under TX law. The handbook is about 60 pages long and it makes very little distinction about carrying openly vs carrying concealed after the state SHALL issue or DENY...
.071 is considered a standard decapping pin diameter. RCBS makes small pins .057 diameter.
I use a Harvey deprimer and they sell standard and small diameter decapping pins.
Speer .357 SIG brass has small diameter flash holes, which I learned after bending several Lee decapping pins. Since I...
Have you considered removing the ballast from the fixtures and putting T8 LED tubes? At least keep one or two and put a regular plug and pull chain or switch on the cord and use them a s temp lights where needed. Just a thought.
If you lived anywhere near Fountain or south of Fort Carson, you would have seen plenty of rotary wing aircraft.
Lots of military helicopters coming and going from the north helipad at the Pentagon and Bolling AFB. While HMX is based out of Quantico, they forward stage at Bolling, and on the...
I like it. Small, bright, easy on and off and reasonable price.
The real test will be how it holds up over time with lots of rounds through the pistol.
I bought two lights, including the RL Mini, and Olight sent me four more small flashlights in the box. Thanks Olight!
I bought a 10 pack of 80% AR lowers from Tactical Machining and a Modulus Universal jig a little over a year ago. They finished up very nicely because everything was set up well and I took my time. Are you planning on using a router? I used a DWP611, and it handled the task pretty easily.
I have a Hogue with a bull barell and a take down that I eventually will put in a Magpul. The Hogue is a nice range rifle, and is more accurate and consistent than I am. After trying the Magpul take down X22, I knew that I will eventually do that just to make it an easy rifle for walking...
If you are carrying it, I suggest the Magpul. The takedown is an even better option IMO. If you will just be shooting it off a bench or prone at a range, the Hogue overmold is heavy and comfortable. It makes a very stable platform.
My first and IMO, most important upgrade for a 10/22 is the...
You didn't mention travel, or budget for training, but in order, the three I would consider first:

Assembling a lower is relatively easy. Just following one of the many YouTube videos will get you through the basics without any special tools. A bench vice is nice to have, but it can be done without one. Get extra detents and springs, as you are likely to shoot one or a half dozen across...
Find a holster that you can use all day, in every situation, and leave your pistol in it. If there ever comes a time that you have to take your pistol out of your holster while seated on a toilet, I recommend that you lay the pistol in your under-drawers. Never, never, never ever put your...
To paraphrase Clint Smith; No one ever regrets bringing too much ammunition to a gun fight.
Carry as many magazines as you can, regardless of capacity or caliber.
When I carried a revolver, I carried as many speedloaders as I could. I never considered the difference between the .38 Spl or...
