DuraCoat looks pretty easy to do and can be done with an air brush which is a pro. Alumahyde looks like a good quick option but it's limited in colors. I'll probably give DuraCoat a try because of the color options.
Would it be single lane as shown in the model or would there be multiple lanes? I can see it causing major back ups on the western shore even without tolls as a single lane. Though that may convince people to stay home instead of clogging backroads trying to get to Ocean City, which is an idea...
So I bought before I thought and ended up with two Matrix Arms AR-15 80% lowers that are unfinished. The black ones were back ordered, there was a sale, and a coupon for free shipping.
After they shipped, my brain finally decided to look up the price of cerakoting and they are fair prices based...
I tossed an inexpensive lodge Dutch oven because no matter what I did it always seemed to rust. I used it a few times, making sure to rinse it out and completely dry it after cooking and it would still rust. Now wishing I had stumbled across Kent Rollins videos. Maybe there’s still hope for the...
That’s accurate, back in 2013 I tried to get a DC letter before owning any regulated firearm prior to FSA going into effect. It was denied. Next month I’m taking the HQL class and after my first purchase will be sending in the DC form again.
It’s this model specifically that’s over $500, I see other ones for lower prices. My store wants $525 making it $575 after taxes and fees.
That site does list it for cheaper making it $458 total without transfer fee. jr88 also linked to an industry partner that has it for less than my local...
He has it for a lower price even with shipping, emailed my local store for their transfer fee. As long as it’s not a ridiculous fee I’ll save some money.
Thanks again for all of the information everyone, I'm going to pick up the Express and add additional shotguns in the future if I find I need a dedicated one for a specific task. I noticed on my closest stores website that the price has fluctuated a couple of times while considering both so I'm...
That's exactly what I want, something that will do the job it's asked to. I'd be beating myself up if I dinged a nice Wingmaster because I'd see it every time. With the camo on the Express I'm looking at it would be more difficult to notice any dings and wouldn't bother me because it's going to...
I’ve had thicker top IKEA desks bow from as little as 27lbs. Some of that was due to the lack of a sturdy frame in the design, but IKEA desks aren’t meant for heavy items or really anything more than a laptop or small desktop computer. I suggest checking it out in the store and seeing how the...
Thanks for the information everyone. :) I wanted to respond earlier but my internet was out and while browsing on the phone is easy I didn't want to try and type out a response on it.
Thanks, that’s exactly what I’m thinking. If I was looking for just one shotgun to own forever I’d probably...
Thanks, it's actually a really nice free stock photo I found online and my go to when I need a photo for something (computer wallpaper, debit card image, etc.). I plan to get a Golden of my own in the next year which is one of my reasons for looking into duck hunting. I figure it'll be a fun...
I am currently looking for a shotgun for shooting clays and duck hunting. I like the look of Remington shotguns and recall people raving about them several years ago on r/guns over on Reddit about their general quality and performance. After spending some time back there over the last two weeks...
Denton is a reasonable distance and it looks like The Gunfather does HQL once a month. I didn’t know Denton had one gun shop, let alone two. I’ll have to check both places out.
Thanks. It's still not showing up for me and after searching the forums it looks like there's a limit of at least 10 posts to have a signature. At least I know where to find it once I reach the limit.
Thanks for the links. Fun Fact: PA is the only other state I've lived in.
