      I own the S&W TALO 686 Plus 5" barrel. Beautiful and a great shooter. I can imagine the shorter barrel versions have a heftier kick, but I've never had any issues. Mine was $720 factory new from Bud's.

      You have to apply to the MSP Licensing Division Fill it out, get it notarized, send it to the specified address, and wait. Mine was fast. Got approved one week after sending in, and received approval letter the week after that. Good luck!
