      Help me choose my first rifle

      +1 to the Rugger 556. It was my first rifle and well worth what you pay for. Plus Rugers customer service is undeniably great. The mag mine came with was kinda crummy and wouldn't eject so I called them and they shipped out a new one the same day.

      Got a pmag and it worked like a charm. Outrider, I think you're right. I compared the top of the old and new mags. The lips on the original metal one are longer and curved in farther. I'm going to email Ruger and see if I can get a replacement.
