      John, do you know if this cracking problem at the extractor groove involved the Benchmark R55 also? I own a Benchmark R55. I have seen conflicting info on different forums including rimfirecentral.com. Was the cracking just on the Classic? Thanks in advance.

      I bought the FDE version from Andy. It was my first visit to Engage Armory. Buddy and Andy and everyone were very nice to deal with. It was worth the drive from Baltimore. I intend to mount an Aimpoint Comp4 on it. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

      Petzl's are good. Check out a Petzl Tikka 2 XP and a Petzl Tikka 2 Plus. Both have a red LED. If you don't care about red, the Tikka 2 is really good and less expensive. I have them scattered all around my house and use them all the time.
