16" AR9 Builds
@Bertfish I suggest using a muzzle brake that directs the gases upwards. In a 16" barrel, there just isn't enough gas generated from the 9MM to make effective use of most brakes. I tried a few other "regular" side directing muzzle brakes, and I couldn't feel ANY difference... YMMV in a shorter... -

Adjustable gas block issue
How many rounds has the rifle had fired through it ? It might need a little more break in. Make sure you have it well lubed. Most all Large Frame AR's "need" a decent break in. They can be fussy. What ammo are you using ? -

New to me Henry 308
Buy spare mags now !! My friend with a 6.5CM Henry, lost her mags ( she is 22yo , Lol ) and phoned me to ask where she come buy some spare ones for the Elk hunt in a few days ! It is surprisingly accurate for a levergun. Enjoy your 308. -

DPMS Handguard

Different guns take oil differently?
Odd... I'd try another product. I use ALG Go-Juice for my storage oil and lube. -
