      New to ARs

      Hard to say what "upgrades" you need without knowing your intentions with said tool. Ive heard good things from Hanover Armory. Last i heard they use BCA barrels(subpar quality) and a few other lower cost parts. Should run reliably. Best thing to do is become familiar with the weapon and practice.

      New Build...14.5 with Pinned/Welded Compensator or AR Pistol

      My 11.5" build puts me at 26.1" OAL. Measured end of muzzle of barrel, to end of buffer tube. I personally have a had two ATF personnel respond to my emails, both have verified that if the brace is indeed collapsible(SB PDW, SBA3), then the measurement is taken with the brace fully extended.

      VFGs on AR pistols in MD

      After contacting ATF twice on the VFG, 26" OAL subject. Both have confirmed measurements are from end of barrel or perm attached muzzle to end of attached brace. Vert grip must be removed before brace is removed ofc. End of brace measurement is at most extended position if available.

      Thanks! I ended up swapping out optics for a Sig Romeo without riser mount. Check position is low on the brace so its much easier to acquire target. I could have waited for sale prices to drop but i have no self control.

      distracted drivers

      I couldnt count the amount of distracted drivers on rt 100 and 295 S every morning on my way to work. If there was a way to calculate the amount of stop and go's because of cell phone distractions i could probably save atleast 60 seconds of my morning and about 120 seconds of my evening drive...
