Still trying to find any information on this SxS. Here are a few more pictures of the shotgun.
The Thomas Rawson is the bottom gun in each picture. The one above it has no markings, that will be my next project!
I have no reloading experience, so would prefer OTS.
Do you have a source?
I don't see it available in any searches and wonder if it can be formed from a similar sized brass and loaded by hand.
Willing to learn if I get the opportunity.
I am looking for Japanese 8x53mmR for a Murata Type 22 Carbine.
All I can find is a wikipedia page on this cartridge and others with Murata rifles. I see the 11mm version is possible to make from resizing, but see no results for the 8.
Anybody know of a source for this?
It looks like there was a real need, must have been over run with stray dogs back then
I would be interested in looking for it if you could point me to a name or author.
I agree, the colors are great.
I have done some more searching and highly recommend Jerry Friedman's website...

I was unaware of Mrs. Zzzzz struggle with cancer, being new here and all. F*ck cancer, it took my sister a couple of years back.
Yard sale therapy is a great way to keep active!
