Thanks guys i ended up ordering that spitfire. The etched reticle, the clearance price, 5x, and after watching a couple vids and reviews it works for me. I seen a used holosun for around the same price but I usually don’t buy used optics I may consider it if he still have it next week and I’ll...
Though almost double the price my coworker was telling me to get this https://caagearup.com/product/mos-optic-sight/
He knows about my extra interest in green dot
This is at the top of my budget for this random pickup optic. I’ve read some interesting things about this dot and the plus of it being green is on my must buy list. Not sure if I want to right now because of the price and I think I want to put it on a different rifle maybe when I get the Ptr 91...
Just because I never used one before. I looked into that holosun and all see is great things that shot to the top of my list my cheap option was the sparc 2 seen it a couple places for 100 shipped
I found over 1k rounds of 22lr in one of my ammo boxes at my first house that I forgot about so figured I should bring out my m&p22. I brought a Vortex Sonora 4-12x44 for my ar10, the Athlon Talos BTR 1-4x24 for my ruger556, and a holosun 507 for my g43x.
Since I’m new to optics I wanted to...
I passed up on a Winchester 70 that was 650 looked a little too worn down in the pics. Cabelas have one for 800 and 900 in thier used inventory but it’s hard to gauge if I’m over paying with just having pics and how they described the rifle
What you want to know about it, I plan on shooting it sometime this week to sight in the scope. I got it because it’s a cheap small frame and weight ar10 that I could put a can on for hunting
You make compelling argument I think another question would be which rifle I should get first . I want the Winchester in 30-06 for the wall so my other rifle that’s in 248 or 270 should it be something like savage, x bolt, tikka, or a older Remington
That’s a sexy rifle too smh why are you doing this to me but I’m going to stick with the Winchester. What’s the price range on the older Remington’s I’ve heard some disparaging things about the new ones but guys at work rave about the older ones. I’m assuming they come in 270 as well
I really like the look and feel of wood and metal guns even with the weight. When i have more time and start having more time with my guys the next caliber I’m getting is defiantly going to be the 270. The range in prices from 550-2500 is daunting so I’m reading up on what the price Vs value are...
More then likely just deer this season, I think I landed on getting a Winchester 70 pre64 in 30-06 that I can find for 800-1200. I’m starting reloading soon, there’s a lot of options for 30-06
