      MSI volunteers: Howard County gun show, 3-4 February

      I wouldn't mind volunteering on a Saturday, but I'm only off every other week. Slightly OT, but is there a current brochure around I can download? I didn't see one on the members pages. I usually talk up MSI and would like to follow up with a brochure, but can seem to find one.

      COMING SOON. Informed delivery doesn't work that way. The expensive machine that takes a picture of the mail is NOT in your local post office. It is at a major sort machine before being shipped out in trays. In the process, mail can fall out of the trays or get static clung to another tray...

      NFA Trust

      Silencershop has their trust products on their website with many local shops having kiosks. That wa you can buy from a local shop, use the kiosk for pics, fingerprints, and sigs, and the LGS still gets some cash. Don't know any lawyers doing it though.

      Range day for awareness?

      Don't get me wrong. I don't mind dignitaries comming to an event. I just won't get bent out of shape if they come and don't have a change of heart. I don't have a PAC or six figures to donate to make them to respect our rights.

      im not looking for gun grabbers, I'm looking for the 80% that are either undecided or formed their opinion on mis-information. At the worst case it could be a lot of fun.

      I was wondering if any of the local gun clubs have a public range day for awareness. Obviously those who know, know. Those who don't are easily manipulated. I talked to someone at DNR and he said they only seem to rent the range to LEOs or someone holding a class. We need educate people...

      19 yr old and handgun at range

      IANAL, but I see kids at the range all of the time. As long as they are supervised by an adult there is no problem. You are not selling anyone a firearm, they are either using your tools or renting from the range. Just teach them safety first and there should be no problem.

      Disappointing Henry lever gun experience

      Sorry the OP had problems, but glad the board has plenty of helpful people. I like my Henry rifles in .22lr and .45 colt. Hopefully after it comes back you have nothing but good times to wash away this experience. At least you may have learned something from this. I know I have.

      They sell thread adapter for around $25 - 30 on ebay. Search for Sig Sauer Mosquito / German Sports Guns Firefly. Them use any standard US .5 x 28 can.

      I like this. It's like responding with "why do you need a modern car? Couldn't you just drive a Ford Model T or an earlier steam or battery powered car? People wouldn't die in as many car accidents if the top speed was 15 mph. For the children. :rolleyes:"
