Nope! I'm not a vet, just a collector. But thank you!
Thanks! It's much easier to do with handguns. But that's the lid from the box my new safe came from... gonna see how long I can hang onto it to use as a background before it's too ratty.
Going for something more classic is just personally more interesting to me than building a totally modern tactical carbine that'll need a new handguard, optic and stock in a couple years to stay current.
I'd like to get my hands on a set of the older-style Delta grips with wraparound checkering on the front. Not too fond of smooth frontstraps on pistols and a set of grips/grip tape is much easier than having a smith checker the frame.
I guess Black Friday and Small Business Saturday count as holidays now in MDSP's book.
Cyber Monday probably does too! I guess I'll be lucky if I get that email by Wednesday.
No worse than any milsurp rifle with a metal buttplate. Only uncomfortable part is getting a good cheekweld on the sheetmetal stock edge. 100 rounds in and I'm happy with it, but I'm not ditching the old furniture just in case the novelty wears off.
Picked up this LE top-folder and forend from a forum member for my Wingmaster today, and by good fortune the +3 extension arrived early. Can't wait to shoot it and beat the crap out of my shoulder! :D
