AGC Action Shooting - Seeking Social Media Director

Regarding photos (another valid concern), non-descript photos like drone shots or photos of people who are already “out there” are perfect for this, and don’t sacrifice anyone’s privacy.

AGC Action Shooting - Seeking Social Media Director

This is a valid concern. I don’t like having my real name tied to my interest in shooting sports. But if I was a prominent shooter, sponsored, an “influencer”, then I’d be all over it in my true name. Honestly, if anyone reading this doesn’t have a separate internet persona stovepiped...

AGC Action Shooting - Seeking Social Media Director

In my defense this was a few years ago! What about the younger guys that did the climbing in and out of the Hescos when we built the shooting bays?

AGC Action Shooting - Seeking Social Media Director

I subscribed to this thread when I saw it. Bravo to AGC Action Shooting for the foray into social media. MEGARMS, we met briefly at an AGC match. You’re running great shoots. I think you’re my age (early 40s) and honestly we’re behind the curve on social media. I sold a stroller / range...

Made this graphic almost three years ago when thinking of random unconventional things to SBR. Hypothetical 29” MD-legal Ruger PC SBR:

      Frederick, MD; April 10 & 11, 2021

Swung by Sunday before they closed. Was happy to hear from several vendors that they’d had a big day on Saturday. I want shows to stay alive. Bought a Colt A2 grip, and a Magpul MOE SL handguard in Sand that will get a dye job eventually. Saw the $2499 Colts, that haven’t moved at any...

AGC Spring Range Day Call for Volunteers

I’m not sure anyone from AGC “officially” checks in on MDS now that the AGC sub forum is kaput. I just posted this because I know I’m not the only member of both, trying to get the word out.

Looking for a Colt 14.5" Barrel For Your Next SBR?

:lol2: It is awful... SFCT is now my favorite muzzle device I think.

Looking for a Colt 14.5" Barrel For Your Next SBR?

Check on Gunbroker. Often there are dealers who part out SOCOM completes. That will get you a genuine NIB Colt SOCOM, but if you’re looking for a “correct” clone, be aware that Colt ships theirs with an odd muzzle device. Longer than an A2, but at the shaft, not the cage.

SASP Open Practice (kids) - 3/21/2021

Cool. Didn’t even know this existed! I’m guessing it didn’t exist ~25 years ago when I was in 12th grade. I haven’t introduced my nephews to firearms yet (pellet guns instead) but maybe we’ll check this out. its this? https://mysasp.com

Value of Colt AR15 M4 Roll Mark LE serial Stripped Lower versus Carbine Roll Mark

Cloners. Cool Guy factor. CDI. “M4 Carbine” vs “Carbine”. I think thats bigger than the tool used to make the engraving.

Looking for a Colt 14.5" Barrel For Your Next SBR?

Just found this and read the entire thread. MD laws are annoying (and unconstitutional), but the carveout for HBARs makes it less so I guess. NFA of course, too. I also like 14.5” better than 16”. But in another thread here we discussed the “other” SOCOM Barrel, the 16” one that came with...

Value of Colt AR15 M4 Roll Mark LE serial Stripped Lower versus Carbine Roll Mark

I’m sure one of the cloners will figure out how to engrave “M4” on there somehow. Won’t be 100% “Clone Correct”, but then nothing ever really is. At first I thought the stripped lowers were the ones that could be built into pistols, a la the Brownells “replacement parts” Colt lowers. Colt...
