Regarding photos (another valid concern), non-descript photos like drone shots or photos of people who are already “out there” are perfect for this, and don’t sacrifice anyone’s privacy.
This is a valid concern. I don’t like having my real name tied to my interest in shooting sports. But if I was a prominent shooter, sponsored, an “influencer”, then I’d be all over it in my true name.
Honestly, if anyone reading this doesn’t have a separate internet persona stovepiped...
I subscribed to this thread when I saw it. Bravo to AGC Action Shooting for the foray into social media.
MEGARMS, we met briefly at an AGC match. You’re running great shoots. I think you’re my age (early 40s) and honestly we’re behind the curve on social media. I sold a stroller / range...
Swung by Sunday before they closed. Was happy to hear from several vendors that they’d had a big day on Saturday. I want shows to stay alive.
Bought a Colt A2 grip, and a Magpul MOE SL handguard in Sand that will get a dye job eventually.
Saw the $2499 Colts, that haven’t moved at any...

Just found this and read the entire thread.

I also like 14.5” better than 16”. But in another thread here we discussed the “other” SOCOM Barrel, the 16” one that came with...
I’m sure one of the cloners will figure out how to engrave “M4” on there somehow. Won’t be 100% “Clone Correct”, but then nothing ever really is.
At first I thought the stripped lowers were the ones that could be built into pistols, a la the Brownells “replacement parts” Colt lowers.
