This will be my 1st attempt at reloading !

I only was concerned about the speed and didn't really check the accuracy other than to eyeball the target when I was done. Also, my target was only about 40 yards away. Generally, all shots were pretty close together at that range, and I shot 10 different powder loadings. After 50 rounds...

Chronograph results Here are my results from a recent range trip. I used the 1680 and small rifle primers. It looks like 10.0 grains is about right.....unless I am missing something. Also, as this is my 1st time.... are there anything from these numbers that are out of parameter's or...

First Dummy Round Went through the process and everything seems to be fine. Before crimping, the round hung a little in the Sheridan Gauge. With the tiniest amount of crimp it went in easily. Which brings me to the question...how much crimp? Just enough to get it in the gauge easily, or...

I think I will give them a try... they don’t cost much, and I know I will need a learning curve so I won’t mind messing a few up until I get proficient. My plan was to load a bunch with no primer or powder anyhow to make sure I am consistently in spec.

Thanks for all comments... I did buy the Sheridan gauge and will make sure I am within spec every step of the process. I will source some heavier rounds and save the 150’s for further down the road. I will also get the 1680 powder. I have read a lot of different opinions on primers......wmil...

Installed my new flat spring and went to the range. Initially, I was still having some cycling issues both suppressed and unsuppressed, so I took some slow motion video with my Iphone . Still feeding badly, the Flat spring was a huge improvement.....Blowback was greatly improved and pretty...

      Trust and Individual

I have a few items in a trust in which I am the only trustee. If I were to get some more items, is there any advantage or disadvantage to getting the new items as an individual ? Or is it better to just have everything in the trust? I am not talking about the wait times.... thinking more...

Feed and ejection problems. I want to shoot it suppressed also, so I am trying to make it run 100% with 147 JHP. I has been a backburner project that I have worked on and off over about 2 years. I just got the stamp for the suppressor ( SG-2 )....so now I am starting to work on it again. I...
