BigSteve,
So your 2nd and 3rd paragraph is confusing and it's how I read other articles.
In your 2nd paragraph....So, if my 1st shot is low and left while aiming at the bullseye, (still aiming at the bullseye) I should click my turrets to adjust down and left?
In your 3rd paragraph.....So if...
Probably been asked before but the search function won't work on my phone. Feel dumb for asking this but......when sighting in a scooe, do you move the reticle to the point of impact of previous shots? Or do you adjust the point of impact of previous shots to your point of aim?
If point of...
So I have now read multiple articles on the same handguns and some basically say, "the higher bore axis makes it easier for follow up or even initial shots" and others say "the low axis makes it easier for follow up or initial shots." Is there any scientific evidence on which is better or is it...
Late Update. Glock actually returned my slide 1-2 weeks earlier than quoted for turnaround time and it looks awesome. Almost like they made a new slide and stamped the same serial # on it. I knew there was a reason I loved glock, lol.
@ getzzbrah, thx for the info. I already bought an extra...
Sorry, I wrote that a little confusing. With the factory mag release and the aftermarket an unloaded mag slides in easily. It's only when it's fully loaded. I'll try different mag springs and maybe just wearing down the stock ones a bit. Thx

When inserting a fully loaded magazine into the gun (slide forward) it seems very tight. I have inserted a unloaded magazine and also switched back to the factory mag release and it slides in just fine. I also tried using 1 round in the mag and inserting and it goes in smooth. It seems that the...
So now that I got the P224......and have crossed out the shield pro(cause I already have the basic shield)....any thoughts about the HK P30SK? Over the FNS Compact?

So I found what I think is a steal on GB. After everything is said and done (FFL transfer and shipping fees), I got a NIB Sig P224 for $660.

Sgt, thanks for the info on helicoiling. I never even thought of that, so I can use the same size screw and placement if rethreading doesn't work. Last option would be to drill a bigger hole and rethread using a bigger screw.
I sent off my slide to glock today. Hopefully they can repair it. I...
Recently purchased a trijicon rmr and tried installing it. One of the MOS plate screws was stuck. Even tried heating the blue loctite loose. Stripped the screw head. Decide to drill the screw out and totally failed. I think I may have used a slightly larger bit. Now, some of the threads in the...
I've been eyeing the s&w 460 models and 629 v comp. I already have the Judge and a Rossi 2" .357. The only thing I don't like about the P224 is a dealer said that SIG discontinued them.
So I'm looking to buy another pistol (as always). It's not for any specific use, just to add to the collection. Here's what I narrowed it down to:
-S&W Shield Performance Center Ported
Already have the regular shield, but I really like the ported slide and fiber sights.
-SIG P224
Love SIG'S...
Grab a glock. There are tons of aftermarket parts so if you ever get bored just upgrade parts. Cheaper than buying another gun everytime. There's other brands that have a ton of aftermarket parts too.

I picked one up off of gunbroker for $560 brand new. That total included shipping, and ffl fee that I have to pay. It was overall cheaper than some stores I called

That's why I was confused. Just wanted to make sure cause I want one but don't want to buy it if they're discontinued and aftermarket parts won't be readily available

Did they have you get a stupid barrel lock? The whole barrel lock thing is new to me but I can't imagine that 7.62 barrel locks are readily available

AK Pistols are good to go in MD right? An M92 PAP specifically. Just want to make sure before I grab one on gunbroker. Dealer said they will ship it with a 10rd mag so I'm good to go. I got a ton of AK 30rd mags that are just sitting around without a firearm to go in, lol
