Received my permit yesterday. 83 days from submission. 76 days from the start date the Trooper gave me.
Other than the entire process being a violation of my second amendment right, my expectations were exceeded.
"Only valid while conducting business as Bad Mother F@#$%"
Which is great because...
As an "independent instructor" couldn't you be working with many companies? Did you put on your application that you instruct for a specific company?
Seems like a weird request. As the owner of your business aren't you the one that determined that a permit was necessary? Not necessarily the...
Funny, I was just thinking about this. Got my PA license last year. Filled out the app and mailed it in. Took less than a week for them to let me know it was approved. Walked in to the York County's Sheriff's Office, 15 minutes and $20 later, I was walking out with my permit.
I was getting...
And, the date of the app can be different from the date you actually submitted it. My official app date was about a week after I actually submitted it, in person, at the barracks. I think it was the date the Trooper was assigned.

Maryladn Case Search
I've been searching the threads and haven't found a concrete answer to this question, so don't bust my chops if it's been addressed and I missed it.
The app says "official court dispositions". Does this mean I have to contact the court and have them send me the...
Went active last week, haven’t received my card yet. My firearm transfer came in today. I showed my dealer a print out of the MSP page showing my license number and he matched that to my driver’s license. I literally just got back from filling out the paper work. I may or may not have the...
You know you don't need the physical card, right? All you need is your weopon and your license number to get the paper work started.
But, to answer your question, it's usually 7-10 business days, depending on when you went active. Cards are mailed out on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
By no means am I implying that you nag them. I happened to have a legitimate issue that I wouldn't have known about if I wasn't persistent, not nagging.
