Great read, thanks. I believe the percentage of Americans willing to risk their lives over their guns would be low, but I think a huge percentage of them would be willing to hide them and offer them up to a resistance force. I do agree with the general conclusion of this article though, the...
Does anyone here have a barrel nut tool I can borrow to swap out barrels on my carbine? HB Industries has been out of them forever, and I don't want to buy a $100 tool from CZ for a one-time application.
Anyone here have a blast cabinet that can rough up an AR-10 for me? I have found a few companies around Baltimore that seem geared towards commercial applications, but this is a 30 min job.
Wish you were closer to Pasadena, I'm in need of an AR-10 armorers wrench myself. I also would like to find someone with a CZ Scorpion barrel nut tool.
I'm about to post an AR-10 for sale in the classifieds. PM me if you're interested or have questions.

Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club has monthly "3-gun" matches that are fairly informal and beginner friendly. I'd recommend something like that before trying a sponsored match.

That should work. One piece of advise is to run a bolt through the tubing and into the the mount if you find it twisting. The top mount on mine had quite a bit of torque on it with the weight of two guns, so I drilled a hole through the middle and it's solid now. Post pics of your finished...
I'd go for the 4-16 only because of the magnification range. Most seasoned long range competitive shooters are not using high magnification scopes for a reason. Military included. High magnification is only helpful for benchrest precision shooters, but for practical long range stuff, which is...
Obviously not a Berreta man anymore, haha. No experience with the Mossberg, but I would be cognizant that adding a longer tube might potentially put you in a class you don't want to shoot (open). Every place is different of course, but food for thought.
I'll start off addressing the haters that think I spent too much money on this and point out that I plan to use this for golf and for shooting. Here's the proof it is still fully functional for its intended purpose.
Now on to the improvements. I started with a CaddyTek EZ cart with the seat...
