You wouldn’t see me shoot a subsonic 6.5 at any range, that’s not “it’s game” so to speak.
Might be worth plugging in some numbers to see difference between the two and what setting a speed limit does to trajectory as well as get a better idea of what would be a “useable range” for each.
If we...
If you shoot suppressed a couple feet per second makes all the difference in the world. Point being that a bullet designed for much higher speeds like most say 220 grain .308 bullets ran subsonic isn’t going to do anything a much cheaper 230gn 45 ACP bullet of similar design at usable ranges...
</= 185gn bullets can run super even in pistol length barrels.

Lots of my 45 ACP loads are subsonic, I have played with 300 blk subs too but the 45 ACP and 9mm heavy sub loads do everything it can do at short ranges at a lower cost.
I have hunted quite a bit with 400+ grain subsonic loads with a 458, they will spin a hog around fore sure.
I never messed...
The charge weight will be very close. Just pull the heaviest and lightest rounds and weight the charges.
Next weigh the bullets, they too will be close.
Now weigh the cases and you will see where the majority of the difference comes from.
I have a few, I automated my 9mm one years ago before anyone sold anything like it.

Came across a smoking deal on a Mark 7 pro 1050 in .223 awhile that’s a nice setup as well. They certainly minimize any time concerns. I can load ammunition for a...
I haven’t had much time to play with this, built the electronics part, did the programming and threw together the mechanical parts months ago.
It’s still a long way from being a finished product but it’s also one of those projects that can get lost do to “life getting in the way” if I don’t see...
For subsonic .223’s I just get a 22 LR and call it done.
In 308 trailboss is the powder and 11 grains with my cast and coated 150 grain bullets make for good backyard plinkers.
Lots of different loads for the 300 blk, just look for heavy bullet load data.
Never tried a subsonic 6.5...
I have a couple of the 1500’s, it would be nice if they gave you information on the parameter settings. I really don’t like the self zero that they do. I don’t like things changing on their own without me knowing. It would be nice to turn off that “feature”.
This is what I am talking about...
Haha, you are not telling me anything I haven’t already found out. I was right where you are now, trying to get results out of something that wasn’t going to give me what I wanted.
Just trying to save you the same frustration.
