Garand Ammo, Fell Short By One
If anyone has a single 30-06 cartridge with a headstamp of "DEN 43", I would like to buy it from you. At the Eastern Shore Arms Collector show on Sunday I picked up an enbloc clip of ammo that I thought was all headstamped "DEN 43" but somebody stuck a single commercial cartridge in the clip...- Jumpmaster!

CMP Delivers
This week I received my 1943 Springfield M1 Garand from the CMP. It has a 1955 barrel that is like new and a new walnut stock. All this for $730 delivered to my door! I'm not real enthusiastic about the new stock, I would have preferred the original, with all of its dents and dings. Photos...- Jumpmaster!

M1 Garand Buttstock Contents
I have a question for the Garand Gurus here. Which cleaning supplies are supposed to go into the buttstock? Long oiler, short oiler, combination tool, cleaning rods, etc. are all available but obviously won't all fit. The CMP website offered only limited information (unless I missed it)...- Jumpmaster!

M1 Stock Care Question
I have a CMP Service Grade Special that I handpicked at the North Store. The rifle has a new CMP walnut stock that has never been treated so I am going to apply boiled linseed oil. I know that everyone has their own opinions and some may not agree with my choice of oil but if BLO was good...- Jumpmaster!
