      Bushmaster Uppers?

MD laws are... alright, enough said already. However, the MDSP website lists "Bushmaster Semi-Auto Rifle" as banned. Is that the simply the logo on the stripped lower? It wouldn't surprise me if it is. Last question: Would this constitute a "copy-cat" weapon? Now wondering why I didn't move...

is it legal to carry pepper spray in MD?

Should have checked here first but found the thread via Google search. Thinking about getting Kimber Pepper Blaster 2 for my daughters in college. College campuses are cool but off campus is a little sketchy. According to Kimber, the PB2 has a longer shelf life and not subject to problems...

      Help HQL Question

Got my HQL last fall. Luckily for me, everything went smoothly. Question: On your receipt; is there a serial/identification number of your electronic prints? That's all I needed for the application. Perhaps the wrong serial number of your prints was entered or given to you. You may want to...

      Maryland Militia ?

Hi everyone! Don't have time to read all pages in this thread...maybe later. I'm interested in getting on the email list but the link to Del. Dwyer's page is a "404 not found" and the other link (MDCDF) is not available. Thanks in advance.

Non Resident Transfer to MD Resident

MSP is not an option; unfortunately. While he's here on a "regular" basis; no established residence in MD and travels frequently. The latter makes this task very challenging. Thanks for the tips on the two Rockville shops! I'll call them this week.

Non Resident Transfer to MD Resident

Thanks for the fast answers! I'll look for an FFL that wll let him drop it off and handle the transfer. If any dealers here will do that; please send a PM to me.

Non Resident Transfer to MD Resident

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but it seemed the most logical. Have a friend who is FED LEO and spends quite a bit of time in MD. He is a Florida resident and still has FL drivers license. I'd like to buy a pistol from him. He has it here in MD (legally) but I'm not...

what are the chances the newer laws get changed back?

I have no problem at all with this. Just like driving a car, one needs to learn how to operate firearms. Some days at my local range; I see folks doing very stupid things that poses a safety risk to all.
