I'd like to see an open season for deer, all species, all sexes, all weapon permitted. Better to kill them in the field than in traffic. But these proposals are a good start.
I'd say Hap Baker is one of the best ranges in central Maryland, especially for rifle shooting. As a matter of fact, it's my preferred range to taking someone to the range for the first time. I've gone at least a couple times a year for over a decade and always enjoyed it.

You are correct. They are aware of bimetal false positives and won't rely on the magnet test. They say that when in doubt, they will cut a bullet to check the core. They will be checking just about all centerfire rifle ammo going forward prior to shooting.
