If pro-gun people started pushing to restrict the rights of women (or any demographic) to own and carry a gun would the liberals be for or against it?
BTW I'm not seriously just thought it'd be funny to talk about.
Most if not all anti-gun people know nothing about firearms. Stop trying to convince them, they're already convinced they're right, show them! When one of your friends is against firearms offer to show them one, teach them on how they work, and take them to the range.
If someone has a fear of...
Can you build an AR pistol with a carbine buffer tube? Yes, I'm talking about the one that a stock can be attached to. With the release of an arm brace that uses a carbine buffer tube it made me think if this question.
I'm not worried about "construction intent" because it'll be built on a...
A friend of mine and I are going skeet shooting in the near future. Neither one of us have been before. How many shells and clays would you guys recommend per person for skeet shooting? Does it matter what # birdshot is used?
Maybe it's just me but I find it much easier to find subsonic ammo in 40 and 45 then in 9mm. At the same time 9mm seems to be the most popular choice when suppressing. I guess it's just that most already have a 9mm so that's what they go with. I've looked around before but didn't really find...
I'm not trying to decide, I'm just trying to understand why 9mm is so popular in the suppressor world. To me it seems like ppl already have 9mm and a that's the main reason they're using it. Nothing wrong with that, I just wanna make sure I'm not missing something.
Yeah I get the advantage of...
Yeah but that's one of my point. Why make a 9mm can if both the 40 and 45 cans are more versatile. I get it that some people might not like a 45 can because they're much thicker then both a 9mm and 40 cans but the 9 and 40 cans are all about the same size so why not just make 40 cans?
When using a suppressor I've noticed a lot of ppl (almost all) prefer the 9mm subs over 40 subs. I'm just wondering why? I've looked around and don't see much of an advantage of using 9mm subs over 40 subs. If 147 grain 9mm ammo is basically the same price as 180 grain 40 cal and both are...
I just figured since the 28" is more common it's probably more common for a reason. Either way I'm very happy with the way it turned out and have no regrets with my choice. I do appreciate all the advice even if I didn't go that way.
The 12.5" won't be a HD gun, it's just something I want. If it ends up being a hack job then so be it but that's not going to stop me from trying. I like the idea of buying a 12.5" barrel only because it comes with a modified choke. It'll save me money because I won't have to take a cut barrel...
I didn't realize that they made a 12.5" barrel. I'll have to look into that. I still prefer the vent barrel but it is something to consider. If I don't go with a new 12.5" barrel I'm cutting the 26" barrel.
12.5" I have a stamp.
This is getting a little more complicated then I thought it would. I'm glad I asked. I also have a smooth bore bead sight 18" barrel that I'm keeping and don't want to cut. Don't really have a need for either the 26" or 28" barrel but I figured I'd keep one just incase...
I'm cutting one of these barrels. My mind is set on that. No one makes a vent rib barrel in the length I want. I'm sorry if you don't like it but it's happening. What I'm asking is what others prefer, the 26" or 28".
