How does one go about hooking up for some build/tuning help?
I built my budget AR about a year ago and had some fits early on due to a slightly mis-aligned gas block and a reversed trigger spring, which I sorted out.
I haven't gotten to the range as frequently as I thought I would over the...
I was putzing around in my basement last weekend with shabby chic type items I can try to dump at flea markets.
Maybe I should practice lettering with my router instead :p
Is an HQL required for an 80% pistol build?
I know there is the training exemption when you start with an 80% AR lower, but I don't recall what was required for one of these Spectre builds.
The YouTube ads for the holster were well done and had me intrigued enough to watch one all the way through a while back.
But I don't think I'd like it. Have to try and remember to watch this later.
Just reread the SOP for question ideas. If these haven't already been covered, maybe:
1) how many applicants rejected for DHMH reasons
2) how many rejected for criminal background
3) how many rejected for interview reasons
4) how many rejected for lacking good and substantial
5) what statistics...
I feel like something is missing. Did the guys up front have drugs/paraphernalia? Why else focus on just this kid?
Assuming the guys up front have additional drug charges (to a gun charge) and this kid is guilty of choosing bad friends (no drug charge), then yeah he is getting screwed hard...
Looking to take my daughter out to Spruce Knob or somewhere thereabouts in a few weeks before she starts college. Want her to get an overnight and real view of the night sky without city lights mucking it up.
Was already planning on traveling loaded for bear (it's in the park brochure :p), but...
Very cool- interesting to see a bit of the behind the scenes stuff.
I find it interesting on its own (how the show gets on is at least as interesting as the show itself), but also curious if anything learned is potentially helpful for getting permission to carry.
I didn't realize Baltimore City had a 3-inch limit on all blades.
Good grief, gotta change my route to work and the dump or get a new EDC just to stay clear of ********.
Awesome advice in here!
I did see a report about water flow needing to be high enough to make the trip at certain parts near Bowie. Farther down it looks less dodgy.
My father in law is giving me his kayak as soon as I get set up to store it. I've also been wanting to get back into camping--only ever did overnights near home with friends as a kid.
The Patuxent River Water Trail seems to be a good fit, on paper, for doing a 3-day trip from the Bowie area...
Sounds like this is the Sight Man:

Edit: his name (Ken Bean) and number are tossed around with the business name "Antique Guns and Sights", so the number listed there should be good to ring up.
Might be like me...If I don't have anything substantive to add, I keep quiet. Why remove all doubt as to my foolishness :P
I saw this headline yesterday and rolled my eyes like Ford Explorer on under inflated tires.
Semi related- I had a whole mess or 'suggested' articles on my Facebook...
Looks like a somewhat recent modification.

Couple similar discussions when googling "AR15 extractor without o ring". Seems that the o-ring might help with extraction issues, so if you aren't having any it's probably fine.
