      I said DON’T carry handloads. I want to show I’m using factory ammo purchased for protection in extreme circumstances, not something they can paint as homebrew fantasy killer bullets.

      Bad idea. Same reason I don’t CC with handloads. In this case, a DA or civil suit attorney is likely to claim you suited up and went looking for an opportunity to make a movie of shooting someone. They’ll paint you as an aggressor rather than a victim.
