Hoping for a little help, I planned on building one of these a few years ago and got a stamp back in 2015. Life got in the way but I want to get on it now. Looks like a lot of the sources have dried up, but I can still source parts. My stamp is for a .30 cal 10" can. I can go shorter than...
Hey all, I haven't been active in a while. I've carried my 9C (with RMR) in an IWB Alien Gear but it's been too uncomfortable due to a recent car accident.
So I'm looking for either paddle holster, or something similar for OWB that's still pretty concealable with a suit jacket or sweatshirt.
It's free and exempts you from any training or courses. Assuming you already own a handgun. Not sure how it would work if you had a CCW and no handgun for some reason.
EMod on the left and Ergo on the right. Granted, some of the threading ends up in the lower so it seems like the ACS-L stock and the Magpul enhanced buttpad may be the way to go.
I did the same research and the VLTOR and Ergo P93 were the longest I found. The Ergo was quite a bit heavier but they were almost identical in length. I still had to go with 9.5" to get it to 29.1" OAL.
What ammo? And you're certain everything was threaded together properly? The piston to the can and to the barrel?
My 9mm can was shooting low today too so I just checked and no jacket parts to be found.
That's really odd. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in.
I bought mine through Gary at High Rock Outfitters in Hanover. He shipped the firearm to my FFL but held the magazines for me to pick up. It was a very easy transaction.
I've joined the ranks of the 9mm SBR owners.
CMMG Lower and BCG, Ambi CH, Piecemeal 9mm upper with the barrel chopped to 9.5", VLTOR EMod stock brings total OAL to nearly 30".
A Pic with my Octane 9HD and some of my other guilty pleasures.
