      What the heck with my new VZ2008

      I initially had FTF issues with crappy demilled surplus ammo as well. I found the solution was to really let the slide go when you rack it. If you ride the slide forward at all you will have feeding issues. You have to really let that sucker fly and it will work 99.9% of the time.

      I ended up calling AIM surplus to cancel my order and talked with one of their guys on the phone. What he told me is that they were waiting for clarification from the AG about the legality of the rifle. Which still makes no sense since I was having it shipped to West Virginia.

      There is a small wooden dowel underneath the follower that keeps it from accepting more than 10 rounds. If you cant figure out how to remove it (While in a different state, of course) PM me and I can help you out.

      I saw the group buy however that is 100 dollars more for just the rifle. Plus Duffy is much farther than WV for me. If I did a FTF transaction I wouldn't be able to get the mags and FTF out of state are illegal. God I hate Maryland right now...

      I plan on calling the FFL tomorrow to ask him about this. I hate to have to put that on the FFL especially since asking him to order things for me brings up connotations of "straw purchases" and I would hate to scare him off at this point.
