Some sites have been closing down while others are opening up. Most of the Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Yorktown, etc sites are fairly well manned. We also have sites in other areas, so if you know someone near a Navy base who needs a job ask them to check us out.
Also a SECRET Clearance will have to be obtainable for anyone who is putting in for this position. That's pretty much standard for anything military related these days.
Also make sure you have lots of trigger time withe a double action pistol. You 'might' have to shoot during your first...

Shoot me a PM and I will reply with my email address... since it's a corporate account I don't want it getting on any spam lists that it might find its way onto by mistake.
I honestly don't know. Check the lockheed martin website (www.lockheedmartin.com) I know that we don't have any of those positions on our contract but that doesn't mean they aren't in the company or that they don't exist someplace.... you may need to look in the Yorktown, VA area... that's...
This is a temporary position with Lockheed Martin that we are working on making a permanent position.

Rick, I've applied for this job and have spoken with Vanaja about getting on board. Haven't heard anything from her since last week.

I just turned down a job that was posted like this for SOC (www.soc-usa.com). They have a need for Range Masters and Firearms Instructors, the pay is pretty good, $500/day for 90 days of work, then you get 30 off... it's a rotating schedule.
But you have to deploy to Jerusalem, Bagdad, or...
The ranger station is definitely a hit or miss deal.
When the rangers are on site they are policing the ranges and other areas. Out of the times that I have been there, I have only been asked twice for any proof that I have the pass/permit.
Welcome to Wally-Dorf in lovely "Chuck" County.
For movies you might want to try the Eisenhower Theatre over in Alexandria. The Wilson Bridge isn't as bad as it used to be and the experience (stadium/loveseat seating and large screens) is worth the trip to and from Virginia.
Give me a...
I took my Dad up there yesterday, and he got an M1A1 in pretty good condition (the guy said it hadn't been fired, he should have said it hadn't fired recently) as well as a Winchester 94 in 30-30 for $20 off the listed price.
All in all a good day.
I'm glad to see that this notice has already been posted. I hope everyone is doing their collective part to get this brought to their Representatives attention.

That guy gave me the heebie-jeebies... but a cool video otherwise. I'll have to borrow one from one of my co-instructors and try it out. I know that she doesn't disassemble hers, she gets so frustrated with it.
Also check out some of the school systems in the area. They usually have substitute work available like Norton said. Many of them also have their own printing facilities. I work for Fairfax County Public Schools taking care of computers in 3 of their 138 elementary schools (even though I live...
