It would be awesome if Ed could dump just a little of his knowledge into videos for those of us who will never have a chance to meet him or take one of his classes. Being a novice I would enjoy having such a resource.

I was making room for my home office and I found several thousand rounds of ammo that had gotten buried by other junk and I had forgotten about. Actually enjoyed cleaning that day.
I picked up the Mossberg MVP scout combo and it came with the Vortex 2-7x32mm. It is not bad for a lower end scope. Good to start off with and upgrade later.
I added an Agency magwell because my pinky would sit in between the mag and the frame. Caused some irritation after 75 rounds or so - I know, suck it up buttercup you will get a callus over time. My 4th gen mags fit with no problem.
Thanks, I will adjust the mag release. I broke out the file to address the problem that the take down pin was not aligning properly. Still tight but much closer than it was before.

When I held it up to the light, noticed that the area by the pivot pin was hitting but the area by the take down pin was up a 1/16 or so. Filed down the area by the pivot pin and the take down pin fits in but still too tight. Will do a little more filling to get it closer.

Interesting twist, I think. Trying a few things and I noticed that if the top round is on the left of the mag, it will not lock in. If the top round is on the right is locks in fine. So I guess if I keep an even number of rounds I should have no problems. Though like others have said, there...
