I just recently bought a pistol with fixed sights. I've always had adjustables in the past. The new pistol is shooting low based on point of aim. The sights are dovetailed so I can adjust for windage but not vertical.
What, if anything, can I do to "fix" this (other than trying to find a...
How to apply for a Carry Permit in the State of Maryland:
Step 1 - Find your nearest toilet.
Step 2 - Place $100 in crisp bills into the toilet.
Step 3 - Pull the toilet handle.
Step 4 - Move to PA where you can have a carry permit in 15 minutes.
The End. Sorry, sad but true.

I was looking at a Freedom Armory .45 Ti can but it's $900 just for the silencer. That's the price of a very good 1911! My 1911 cost $1,200! Hard to swallow buying an $1,100 (w/ tax stamp) in addition to the firearm.
Just me and my opinion of course. If they had priced it around $400 I might...
First off, I'm not "attacking" anyone or any manufacturer I'm just trying to wrap my head around the price.
There are some good explanations that have been given and it ultimately comes down to the the consumer to decide if the outrageous price tag is worth it or not.
I do know there are two...
A little piece of aluminum or titanium should not cost $700 - $1,400 (of course then you have to pay the $200 "tax stamp").
Can someone explain how this is NOT outright GOUGING of consumers? I know you don't have to buy one and it's a "luxury" item but come on! It's just outrageous what this...

My advice is DO NOT MOVE TO MARYLAND. Great state. Horrible one-sided only politics. Unless you are a Democrat you are NOT REPRESENTED AT ALL. You're welcome. I know I'll catch hell for this post but the reality is that even though red counties outnumber blue ones the expert-level gerrymandering...
I too am bored to tears with shooting from a stationary position at paper targets.
Very old school. I'm not old.
I want to move and practice DEFENSE SHOOTING! Shooting for accuracy is fun for about 10 min. I want to learn REAL SHOOTING at moving and reactive targets.
There is a HUGE...
Instead of buying a 10/22 and then proceeding to replace nearly EVERY SINGLE PART, isn't there just a better .22 LR semi-auto rifle that would be more expensive than a stock 10/22 but cheaper than the $1,000 you'll spend to replace nearly every single part and build a custom 10/22???

It was crazy here in Hampstead. My damn dogs had to sleep in our bed that night because otherwise they just howl and cry and we get no sleep.

Thanks! I was intending on going that day but my kids wanted to have a cookout. My kids trump shooting LOL!
I do intend on taking you up on your generous offer.

Nothing curious about it LOL! I have a full family, a demanding full time job and a huge honeydo list :)
And the spare time I do have I try to go to the range and shoot pistols, revolvers and rifles.
I fear the real issue that I must admit is a serious amount of trepidation at the thought...
I shall be there! I'm either good or lucky (shooting at 15 yards) but I have yet to hit my chain! Either way the hose is hands-down the better setup! And I appreciate you doing this for me!
